Document Reader is published by KatreSolutions. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It is short because the app does very little with it.
Your documents never leave your device. Document Reader opens, edits and converts files locally. It has no server of its own, no account to sign in to, and it never uploads, copies or reads the contents of your files anywhere. There is no analytics or crash-reporting service in the app.
Nothing. We operate no servers and receive no data from the app. Your settings, recent files, favourites and Pro status are stored only on your device, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Three Google or Google-adjacent services are built into the app. They are listed here with what they receive and why.

Ads are the only part of the app that requires a connection. Buying Pro removes them, and with them the advertising identifier they use.

Document Reader is a file manager for documents: it finds the PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV and text files already on your device, and saves your edits back to the original file wherever it sits. A file picker alone cannot do that — it grants access to one file at a time and cannot list what you already have. This permission is used only to find and write document files. Nothing found this way is uploaded or transmitted. |

Document Reader is not directed at children and is not designed for them.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android under Settings › Google › Ads. Buying Pro switches ads off entirely. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the new version appears at this address.
